Product Inspections
Our quality control inspections at HTPI focus on verifying product quality and quantity against predetermined specifications. As product life cycles shorten and time-to-market becomes critical, delivering quality products promptly is essential. Failure to meet quality specifications can result in goodwill loss, revenue impact, delayed shipments, material wastage, and even the risk of product recalls.
Quality Control Inspection Procedures
1. Pre-production Inspections (PPI)
Before production begins, we rigorously inspect raw materials and components to ensure they meet your specifications. We verify availability in quantities sufficient to meet production schedules. This service is particularly valuable when dealing with material or component replacements or when collaborating with new suppliers requiring outsourced components and materials during production.
2. During Production Inspections (DPI)
Throughout production, our inspections verify adherence to quality requirements and specifications. In cases of recurring defects, we identify problem areas within the process and provide objective input for effective solutions.
3. Pre-Shipment Inspections (PSI)
After production concludes, we conduct pre-shipment inspections to verify that goods align with your requirements. This service is commonly requested and works well with suppliers you have prior experience with.
4. Piece by Piece Inspections (or Sorting Inspection)
Whether pre- or post-packaging, our piece-by-piece inspections evaluate general appearance, workmanship, functionality, and safety according to your specifications.
5. Container Loading Inspections (LS)
Our technical staff closely monitor the entire loading process to ensure compliance with your requirements. We confirm that your order is complete, securely loaded into containers, and ready for shipment. This final check covers quantity, assortment, and packaging.
